Outline South West Part II is making its final appearance in the fourth Devon village on its tour around the South West. The exhibition is currently on its way to the lovely little village of Colyford in the Memorial Hall and will be open on Saturday 30th May from 11am. There is a special launch event on Saturday at 1.00pm with sandwiches, refreshments and an appearance from the village’s own mayor! Also on Saturday, Anita will be running an instant workshop with opportunities to make mini prints of your own. On Sunday the exhibition is open from 11am and closes at 3pm.
This weekend will be the last chance to see the wonderful prints made by Anita on her coastal path journey and also to dive into the Postcards from the Path section and see the four pieces created by Carol Timms, Richard Povall, Phil de Burlet and Caroline Parrott. A favourite in the exhibition so far have been the artists sketch books which are beautiful in their own right and share fascinating process. A special ingredient in the exhibition at Colyford will be the sound work created by pupils at Colyton Grammar School who created sound pieces with artist Richard Povall.
The Postcards from the Path project has been a great success with the wonderful touring exhibition along with a plethora of workshop opportunities for people of all ages to work alongside professional artists to create artworks inspired by their environment and to see their work shown in their local village hall.
